And I know you’ve all been waiting for some pics, so despite the awful weather on the race day, here they are!

Little taste of South Savo

Good stuff this weekend! Check out some shots from the gallery!!!

Rumble’s over – and still going strong!

So the official Rumble at Ski Tornimäki is over, but we’re still making a hassle with Mikkeli’s nightlife. The contest was tight, as the Rockstar / Dropin Shop ranked the contenders with only percent margins! We saw backflips, 360’s, tailwhips, 180 degree 4 meter transfers, bonks, 3whip attempts, everything! Rockstar’s Moustache-Master, Mr. Ramsay gave away hundreds of Rockstar drinks, and we gave away our latest design in the t-shirt form… So, here you go:

Resistenza Rumble 2010 Top3

1. Henri Heiskanen, Resistenza.FI, Insane Toys team rider

2. Jesse Kuusi, Tampere 03 area

3. Mikko Nieminen, Jyväskylä

The winner would’ve won a Resistenza t-shirt and a complete checkup and maintenance of snowscoot boards at Savon Suksistudio, the number #1 place for getting your wax on… Henkka already had the Resistenza SoSavo 50100 (which will be announced officially in Resistenza Store on monday) and get’s his boards pimped at Suksistudio, so he gave away the grand prize to Jesse!

Resistenza would like to thank Tuomas&Aki from Savon Suksistudio, Juha&Mika from Offshore for the free tryout snowscoots, Keke&Markus and the rest of the crew at Ski Tornimäki, Rockstar Energy Drink, and of course our judges from the Dropin Shop!

Keep your eyes open, we’re going to put up a halfpipe contest soon… Go check today’s gallery!!!

It’s on!!!

It even looks like it…

Can you hear the…

2010_rumble

Like Metallica said, Nothing Else Happens – we decided to put up a small street session/contest for all you people who are getting bored! It will take place at Ski Tornimäki in Mikkeli, with a nice little street, rails and boxes. There’ll be some music, cameras, and maybe even prizes! We’ll keep you updated on that, as well as on the cost of all this fun – we’re still gathering more information, but the event fee will possibly give you VIP treatment.

Check out the Resistenza Rumble on Facebook!

GhettoScoot X pt. 1

What more can I say? :D

Construction for GhettoScoot

We’ve been building a new launch tower lately. GhettoScoot might be mindblowing this year…

Nuff said!

Super Park

So it was Super Hero Park at Marquette Mountain today. Expectations were high but it was bit of a disappointment. only highlight of the day was a fistfight between two random guys and two ski patrol guys. I wish my camera would have been on for that!

Just before leaving I wanted to do something so Kenzie, Vesa  and I went to a rail/jib session park for a last jump. I wanted to do a backflip from a small kicker and ended up doing it three times…two landed and one crashed. I have never done a backflip that low but it was fun.

Snowscoot test day/session in Riihivuori!

February 28th is the day you want to be in Riihivuori. Sila M from Offshore will be there with a nice selection of Snowscoots available for testing. So get your savings out and maybe you can start off March with a brand new Snowscoot! ;D

And if someone is willing to judge, and more importantly if some of you nutcases are willing to risk your lives(not really!), there is a possibility of a big air “contest” or a session or whatever. And maybe some kind of prizes, some liquids perhaps or atleast a hand shake from yours truly?

If you have some ideas or requests or suggestions  or something just leave a comment. Also if you want to take part in the bone snapping, gravity defying huuuuuuge huuuuge Jumping, be kind and post a comment.

EDIT: There’s a minor hiccup concerning the schedule, The Frezza Freestyle Winter Tour which is scheduled to end at 17:30. So we could either start the comp/session after that OR substitute the Big Air with a Corner. From what I hear(and read) the corner should be A-OK. There’s a couple of pictures of the Corner and other Stuff in here.

And…If some of y’all are thinking about some after-ski action and need a place to stay for the night, we(me and Tiina) can accomodate about 4-7 in our balcony..I mean living room! So leave a comment or e-mail me!

And let’s hope Nasty isn’t the only whacko out there! :D

Saturday at Sappee!

Sappee Snow Park Challenge

Sorry for such a short notice, but I heard a rumour that tomorrow’s all about 4X-racing at Sappee. So anyone with spare time and an urge to race should head for Sappee for some side-by-side slope battle. If the track’s the same as it used to be, it’s gonna be fun and scary!

Sappee is organizing a slopestyle competition too, so there’ll be something to watch while sippin’ those first aid beers. They’re handing out a total of 1800€ prize money (and the amateurs’ winner gets a free 2 person trip to Salomon Jib Academy in France), and I’m wondering if we’ll see a snowscoot challenge like that some day…
