All in all, it was a fun day, the following morning was not fun at all but we still made it back home alive. Hung up, but alive. The Resistenza Prize went to Jesse Kuusi, for his consistent performance as an all round rider, getting along well with everyone and not trying too hard! Congrats! And I know you’ve all been waiting for some pics, so despite the awful weather on the race day, here they are!
This could take all night…
Make my way back home and learn to fly… Just like Foo Fighters put it!
Going to get some lights and shovels from Henkka’s cabin! Necessary? No. Stupid? Maybe. Fun? Hell yeah!!!
This snow dump is ridiculous… And these four wheel slides are even worse!
EDIT: Never made it to the cabin, a little too much of that white stuff, added with a luxurious automatic transmission and brand new winter tires kinda sealed the deal… Subaru, sponsor us, please? :D
Congratulations, Peetu!
Peetu Piiroinen took the silver medal in Olympic halfpipe just minutes ago. Absolutely awesome – 45.0 points!!! Way to go!
PS. Koski 6th, Malin 11th – not bad at all!!!
New clothes!
Woohoo, I know some of you have been waiting – but wait no more, the t-shirts are finally available in the Store! Go check’em out!
Rumble’s over – and still going strong!
So the official Rumble at Ski Tornimäki is over, but we’re still making a hassle with Mikkeli’s nightlife. The contest was tight, as the Rockstar / Dropin Shop ranked the contenders with only percent margins! We saw backflips, 360’s, tailwhips, 180 degree 4 meter transfers, bonks, 3whip attempts, everything! Rockstar’s Moustache-Master, Mr. Ramsay gave away hundreds of Rockstar drinks, and we gave away our latest design in the t-shirt form… So, here you go:
Resistenza Rumble 2010 Top3
1. Henri Heiskanen, Resistenza.FI, Insane Toys team rider
2. Jesse Kuusi, Tampere 03 area
3. Mikko Nieminen, Jyväskylä
The winner would’ve won a Resistenza t-shirt and a complete checkup and maintenance of snowscoot boards at Savon Suksistudio, the number #1 place for getting your wax on… Henkka already had the Resistenza SoSavo 50100 (which will be announced officially in Resistenza Store on monday) and get’s his boards pimped at Suksistudio, so he gave away the grand prize to Jesse!
Resistenza would like to thank Tuomas&Aki from Savon Suksistudio, Juha&Mika from Offshore for the free tryout snowscoots, Keke&Markus and the rest of the crew at Ski Tornimäki, Rockstar Energy Drink, and of course our judges from the Dropin Shop!
Keep your eyes open, we’re going to put up a halfpipe contest soon… Go check today’s gallery!!!
Rumble’s almost ready!

Resistenza Store is open!
You heard it! Christmas is coming and we’re gonna fill up your socks – make sure they’re big enough!
Henri’s going Insane…
… Toys.
You heard that one right! I haven’t got enough words to describe this, but we just got the news that Henkka is now officially in the Insane Toys team. What a present for Resistenza’s 5th birthday (which is coming up real soon)! Whoa. Can’t tell what color Henkka will choose for his new ride, but I’m sure we’ll hear that soon. Check out the portfolio shots!
Merci beaucoup, Franck!
Vodka and videos pt 2
I finally got the chance to collect some evidence – vicious vodka shots and Resisted videos are now possible @ Kharma Mikkeli. Booyaa.
GhettoScoot X pt. 1
What more can I say? :D
New Forum Now Open!
Hey everybody!
So we got our own forum now! Forum is for Finnish snow scooters and for international scooters as well. Idea is just to get all snow scooters to talk together on the forum and share thoughts and ideas.
And thats why we hope that people would use English, just for the simple reason that all snow scooter around the world could comment on things.
Of course Finnish is OK too, after all we are a Finnish team :)
Winter arrived?
It’s been snowing for some time in Mikkeli, and we got a big bunch for some GhettoScoot construction tomorrow… Joonas drive all the way from Helsinki, and was forced to buy a beanie…
Nordic Hiders?
Tell me, what’s happening? The frontpage has been gray for ages… +2000 users, but no-one writes a thing? There’s a gigantic amount of categories, but only a couple of them have posts. The forum’s got a label on Google – “This site may harm your computer.”
Step it up guys, this is nothing good…
Grand Theft Auto
Taavi’s ride was stolen today, so keep your eyes open and call the cops if you see someone driving a pimped out Toyota! I don’t mind if you beat the living shit out of the thief, though…
Bring it live with the transmission…

If you liked the sounds on our latest video, you need to check out The Megaphone State’s latest interview on Basso.fi. Also, if you liked the songs, you’ll probably get their album too, right?
NasseNiteRaid Downhill Mountainbike season finale
NasseNiteRaid took place in Jyväskelä, Finland 10.10.09. Idea of Nasse is to have fun, see friends and wrap up the season. Weather was spectacular when we arrived to the parking area of Laajavuori, +3 celsius and sunny. Grass and trails were frozen at the slopes, but the riders spirits were high. Gear up, check the bike for the last time, some lube for the chains and GO! After riding for about an hour more riders started to show. I started to feel it was time to get some energy and eat, so I decided to get my grill out of my car and light it up. I was hungry for some sausages and spicy mustard!
When I was having a break, a Fiat parked next to my car and quess what, it turned out to be Mr. Pouta himself. I immediately offered a nice hot sausage to him. Could you ask for a better day: nice weather, good food and friends around you? And my bike was still in one piece and performing well.
When I was full of sausage and my energies were up it was time to get back on the bike. At the slopes i saw Elvis, a bunny, a bear, a lion and some pretty weird sh*t. And no, I wasn’t drunk! Those were the riders who were following the dress code of NasseNiteRaid.
Trails at Laajavuori were really great as always. TrailCrew has been busy all summer making sure the trails stay in excellent condition.
During the day my riding was getting better all the time, but it ended in a horrible crash when I fell head first to the only rock in that part of the trail. My hands were still holding the bars when my head slammed against the rock. Thanks to my helmet which took most of the beating I ended up with a sore jaw and bit my tongue. I also hurt my neck and some fingers in my right hand but I was able to walk down with my own two feet. The helmet suffered a broken lid and some scratches. With lots of dirt in my mouth, I desided to pack up and call it a day. One thing is for sure, I´m getting a leatt-brace for next season.
Some pics from the event:
Who the hell?!
First I gotta say I’m a avid fan of Chase Jarvis, professional photographer who started out with snowboarding and skiing – personally I think he’s taken photography as a community real far and never ceases to amaze and inspire with his dedication. I was just looking through his behind-the-scenes clips from his photo shoot fo SanDisk in Snowpark, New Zealand and I was in awe when I saw a Kawasaki green snowscoot in the end of the clip.
Whoever you are, speak up, you’ve deserved a gift from us. And for those interested in seeing all this happen or those wanting to see some evidence, here’s the clip.
EDIT: Thanks to Nico Pillin, we’ve learned that the gentleman appearing in the video is Kelly Gooch – excellent!
Keep your eyes open, Jyväskylä!!!
Resistenza.FI will be represented at Lumiere40100 in Jyväskylä on 10.10.2009 among KBR Productions and many others.

Launch tower down!
Some ******* ***** of **** neighbourhood punks with their mopeds and moonshine have burned and tore down our precious tower at the secret compound, after almost a decade of harsh use. God damn it! Our wrath is upon you, we shall have our revenge!
